Slightly off topic, but for you guys that love your old Brits, have a look at this. Lovely story behind it and loads of really high quality pics.

This was my 2nd bike and first sense of freedom. Bought it when I was 13 and with help from the father we stripped it down to the frame and built her back up refurbishing or replacing bits on the way. I rode it home from my cbt on my 16th birthday, brilliant memory that is! :) I Spent every penny I earned on it up until I was nearly 17, it went pop shortly before getting the 125 on the road so now sits idle in my garden in need of a rebuild, I can't bare to part with it.

This was next, again a bit of a project, stripped it and cleaned it but spent a lot less on this one, replaced tyres, pads, chain, shock and a few other bits. I only really got it as car insurance was to steep for me when I turned 17 and the 50 wasn't practical/fast enough. An absolutely brilliant bike that taught me a lot! I say probably the most fun I've had on a bike, possibly in my time on the road. So quick for what they are and suprised a lot of people, handled so well. Being another aprilia it blew up 2days before my bike test. I rebuilt it and sold it to make way for the ninja. Was a peach that one.

My baby now, first big bike, a lovely bike for it its age, perfect for what i wanted at the time. Got a full akra system to go on it in the summer, :) I have plans to turn it into a track bike then buy something newer for the road.

I love bikes. At the moment I have a GSXR based drag bike, a TZR250 fun bike and a early 4 valve JAWA solo
