that's pretty cool video! i read that the black edition is a profesional grade camera, the silver edition is prosumer edition and the white edition is consumer grade but after reading what you told me i think a white edition would do the trick

Make sure you buy a big and fast memory card too, don't scrimp!

the black model has some nice feature over the other models but to be honest buy the package that best suits your needs as the accessories are quite pricey.. motorsport suction mount is solid as a rock!... get a floatie rear door just in case it drops off in a muddy bomb hole..

I rarely use the highest resolutions because the files are so big they bog my computer down, and most of the quality is lost if you upload them to the net.

Even the lowest spec one will be a great camera and they all have the one big feature that makes GoPros great- you can put them anywhere, attached to anything in any environment and you will get a great video. So just choose whatever suits your budget really.

i heard the same thing, but the one they had problems with is the hero 3, the hero 3 plus just came out and according to what i read all those bits got taken care of

i thought of the same thing hehe my brother just bought a dashcam for about £40 on amazon but i already ride motorcycle and go fishing so i'm looking to geta camera that works for all those things
