need to to chop my bumper as t now catches on lock, and looking for design inspiration

To be honest, I cut my bumper with a cutting disc as well, if you don't burn the plastic it gives a nice straight line.steffan wrote: 1mm metal cutting disc in the angle grinder cuts plastic very well

we're on the same wavelength, I've already got my stick onto stop your bumper catching it just needs the lower brackets bent back into place. But fixing it with a hacksaw is much more fun
thanks guys for the heads-up on 1mm disc
I've plenty of them for cutting the tin sheet down the allotment

makes senseKeep your bumper as it is and buy a second hand one to chop up.
pulled the bumper off today removed the linings and bent the brackets back out, refitted bumper minus linings as intend to remove and chop later, and doesn't catch anymore
OK, James how much for a bumper,
has anyone refitted the linings after chopping the bumper then

Yep, just cut the liners off to match the bumper
