Brake lines was created by lesgrandepotato
Just finishing up the replumbing. From the master cylinder I have a pair of hardlines, the meet a pair of rubber hoses, which meet a pair of braided hoses.

From my view I don’t see why it needs any flex in this section. After all the brake line is on the chassis as is the body?

So should I have a pair of hardlines? Or should it have a flexy in it, if so is it rubber or braided?

I guess it is because the body does move in relation to the chassis. This is evident on my Gen3 jimny where the chassis attached roll cage hits the body when flexing, It moves a surprising amount

The body does move relative to the chassis.

Suzuki uses rubber hoses, Toyota uses coiled hard lines, my preference would be braided.

Cheers I’ll fabricate something with the braided hoses. Certainly doesn’t need both sets of flexies

Just to show how much it moves. I have inserted 1 inch door stop rubbers to stop the cage hitting the body
