Fitted my dash cam.
I took the A pillar trim off and dropped the cable down, then routed behind the carpet of the passenger footwell, took about 20mins.

A few minor jobs today
- I took the bling cover off the spare to check it was fitted with locking wheel nuts, it wasn't. I have noticed that the standard Suzuki kits only include 4 nuts, so I put a locking wheel nut on the spare and one on the plastic cover from my old set.
- I checked the tyre pressures on my Maxxis, they were at 23 psi cold, so topped them up to 26 psi, don't want the TPMS going off.
- A SD card with 2023 maps arrived (eBay £17.50) one day after ordering (that's good service), fitted and all working.
- I also found some nice rope and made a couple of slings to hold the rear load area mat along the side of the rear seat when rolled up and not in use.
Getting there, but still some jobs to do.
- I have a dashboard box on order
- I am thinking of underseal, but might wait until it is drier and warmer
- I am thinking of recovery points (might use the tow bar for the rear and the Jimnybits concealed points for the front).

Looks like as well as not supplying the key for the cover, they at some point removed the locking wheel nut for the spare. All 3 of ours had a locking wheel nut for the spare that matched the one on the wheels.

The Suzuki locking wheel kit box which was in the car with the adaptor only had space for four locking wheel nuts in the plastic insert and the little drawing only indicates 4 nuts.
I suspect Suzuki have more than one kit and the wrong one (or cheaper one) was ordered for this car.
Still no problem, my old kit worked fine and we don't get too many tea leafs round here.

Drove 250 mile round trip and I could still walk okay at the end, yes the Gen 4 seats will do. Plus it would pull at least one gear higher up some hills, a fair bit more power. That and 40mpg for the whole journey, a big improvement.
I got my aftermarket SD card replaced and that now works in the Sat Nav, so have my iPod mp3 permanently installed in the head unit To celebrate I subscribed to a speed camera database and now get alerts for every speed camera including mobiles, nice.

Drove the 220 mile round trip to see my Mum, the SZ5 seats and cruise control make this a comfy enough vehicle so I have decided not to fit my aftermarket semi-bucket seats and stick with the original fitment, which are heated and have integrated airbags.
I made a quick stop to try 4WD, worked fine

It's good to see these things grow, if you change things over time then you dial it in on exactly how you want it to be set up.
Here in Australia they might as well come out from the factory with a winch capable bullbar, 215's with a 6" lift and a roof rack, I don't think I've seen 1 on the road yet that wasn't set up that way.
I think we lack imagination over here, people watch extreme 4x4 shows on YouTube and think that's how they have to set it up irrespective of its use.

A couple of bits and pieces today
LED interior lights
Front (Halogen, then LED)
Rear (Halogen, then LED)
Much brighter than the slightly agitated glow-worms which were in there before.
Load area cover
Due to the clips it's not possible to get it any tighter unless you adjust the straps once it is in place (then it won't come off), but it will do the job of hiding everything in the back and stop it from moving around.
It was good value at about £17 and even included SS Eye-bolts for the sides (which I already had).

I'm fairly certain those "before" pictures are incandescent and not halogen, there IS a difference.

I used to subscribe to pocketgpsworld.
They don't support the SLDA, and I can't remember how I got it to work, I could do with an update!
If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

You are most likely right, filament bulbs, not halogen. It was the LED kit which said they were halogen. Still a massive improvement on the glow-worms that were there before.I'm fairly certain those "before" pictures are incandescent and not halogen, there IS a difference.
