New to the Jimny scene. 00 with 197k miles.
Cleaning the inside yesterday, 1st time scince I bought it 3weeks ago I noticed the carpet in the drivers footwell was damp. I've gone through the bits that I found on line - windscreen drain off, back wiper hose, heater index rubber bungs - all to no avail. It doesn't seem to be coming from anywhere in the front. I have the carpet up and the water is coming from under the driver seat. I've had the carpet up in the back and it's dry.
Anyone have ideas of what this is from? She's not gone off road or through any puddles. It has been raining but the rest of the car is bone dry. This is coming from the bottom up.
I've attached a pic of where the water is coming from.
Thanks
Andrew

If you were really bothered you could get a screenwash bottle from a convertible, which only has one pump in it for the front screen.

Is that a take off the dash job, or is it accessible from the footwell?

With one person altering the controls the other looks underneath and sees which part is not moving properly

i pulled off the plastic shroud between the bonnet and windscreen and checked the drains were clear and powerhosed them to be safe, all seems to drain behind the front wheel.
Can anyone recommend anything else to try?
