Hi all,im after a bit of input of anyone running a 410 transfer box,i know the subject has been covered alot but im pondering on what tyre size to go for at the moment.

ive just got a 410 box and props i need a couple other bits and then should be good for fitting it all in.

im thinking of going with 215 80 15 sahara's i currently run 195 80 15 sahara's and cant moan about the tyre and how well the jim performs on the lanes even in lardy sorry landy rutts.im just after a bit more clearance with out killing clutches and making the jimny worse to drive.

The other thought i had was i know richiesjimny was running 235 75 15 on a 410 box and a m16a fitted (ive also got an m16a fitted) and he said the combo was spot on for laning.

I'm only running a 2" suspension lift and i know with the 235's i need more clearnace so was thinking do i go for this size instead of the 215 80 and do an 1" body lift and a bit more arch trimming.i only really do green laning so want it to drive half decent, although i am concidering a couple of p+p days this year but not basing my decision on this.also before anyone says i cant afford a proper lobster box.any input much appreciated thanks

Have you 413 output flanges and centre and rear prop? Coz that's wat you need fit on the 410 box to go on the Jim, 413 rear prop goes on front and Jimny front goes on rear :) I've got it all ready to go on I just gotta find funds atm for cradle.

yea got the 413 output flange and props.tbh i was under the impression that you needed the small sj prop to go between the gearbox and transfer box,the jimny front prop stays on the front and the sj front prop on the rear of the jimny with either the uj off the jimny prop of drill the diff.im deffo not going to 31's id need to remove most of the arch to get those in.

Hi Gaz you might find the 235's would fit with a bit more trimming of the arches etc with your 2 inch lift, can you borrow the wheels off my old Jimny to see how they would fit?
