As one of our main correspondent in the general vicinity will you be attending Tokyo on our behalf to get us some first hand intelligence on the new Jimny?
Now you have me thinking.....
Darn you! I can't get it out of my mind now. Admission tickets are a little under $15 USD, Airline tickets from Manila to Tokyo are reasonable. I might just do it if it weren't for the fact that everyone there would be speaking in some kind of secret code.
I started out with nothing & still have most of it left

got a new one in September 16,it is going on the first of December in part ex deal done yesterday, got second new one December 16 it went in part ex on first of june at £2000 less than yesterday, both are exacly the same spec, after taking all the years to get one, they have both been prone to faults, they come out of dealers worse than they go in last one went for service just to get book stamped and keep value, they de valued it more with scratches, they are cheep to buy for a reason,if any one wants any 30mm spacerers have 2 sets.Huh they have gone up in price? I thought I was struggling a bit much to find a VVT for <£2.5k. I was hoping for a value crash when the new model got released.

I'd drive and buy this
This would be a fun vehicle, the ground clearance would be enormous and the thought of an electric motor in each wheel, obviating the need for tailshafts, axles, gearboxes and transfer cases with electrics full-torque from start etc is very interesting indeed.
Looking forward to whatever comes

the current jimny is all grip select, the new one is going to be all grip pro the same as old grande vitara 2.4 we had, going into low it cracks and banged going in and out ,if it would come out,is linked to abs and traction control, main module went a comen fault on it and swifts, between £1400 and £1750 if you fit it yourselfe, when it plays up cuts power as well, after seing the shape and build quality of last 3 suzukies changing brands, last jimny was got because dealer did a good deal on vitara without seeing dashboard like a Christmas treeYeah think you might be right, I have seen a article on Suzuki global about the AllGrip and they show a jimny with AllGrip Pro, probably be another option
