Exactly.....a proper 4x4.

I'm liking the new look of the Jimny, even if it is more retro than future looking.

I like the square style, reminds me of the early LJ models, 10 to 50.

Colour schemes have heaps of options to make your Jimny stand out too.

What sort of lump do we reckon will be powering it?

Something with a turbo perhaps ;)

I love it, a proper return to the old LJ/SJ, puts the current model Jimny to shame a bit. :side:

My only hope that it gets a simple engine, as much as a modern, complicated turbo will look good on paper stats I think simplicity is important for a vehicle like the Jimny.

I'll believe it if & when I see it. ;)

Living in the 1960s as I do, I like my cars to be shaped like cars

e.g. Mk1 Subaru Forrester, Mk1 RAV4, Mk1 Nissan Xtrail , Mk1 Range Rover (in general, the Mk1 is the best of the series, before manufacturers see how cheap they can go with paper-thin steel etc.)

There is no way Suzuki are going to buck the trend of identical SUV monstrosities with something like that. I'm surprised the date wasn't April 1st :)

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

Well I did ask if it was true because even I can't believe my good luck - if I could get one. It looks like an SJ to me full stop.

I refuse to believe that would ever go on sale in Europe.
SUVs look like Vauxhall mokka, new vitara, Audi Q anything BMW X anything, Ford whatever it is, qashquai, Hyundai thingie, current Forrester, RAV4, etc.
Without the badges I couldn't tell you which was which. They is what sell like hotcakes (and in 2wd form too, for the tax break).

People who are still living in the 1960s are not a market sector in this country.

Though I did notice the silver plastic undertray on the "new" jimny, a nod to current style...

...

I'd like it in the UK though.
Am I living in the 1960s then??
