Hi
Is kam still trading ?????? as I`ve tried to contact them for a price on a rear diff locker
And they never bothered to reply,so much for buying British :( :(

Same experience I got.

Tried contacting the twice for a price on rear locker incl. shipping. But no answer.

Makes you wonder what would happen in the event of any sought of warranty claim.

Yep seem the same ordeal with other people on other forums.
Maybe they can`t be arsed with suzuki lockers any more
Shame :( maybe rustrover owners have deeper pockets.
might have to get a cheap chinese air locker "well at least they anwser my emails"

Calm down guys, I would bet my left nut they have not gone down the pan... :woohoo:

I would suspect your having trouble contacting them is because they may have shut up shop for their summer hols... a lot of companies do this, and it's usually for a full 2 weeks.

Hmm don't know about that..

First time I tried contacting them was december last year... No answer.

Second time was april ... again no answer.

I guess my money will be on ARB lockers.

That's the best and most reliable option! B)

I remember some guy installing one of those KAM lockers on his SJ, and it couldn't handle 31" boggers and some real offroad driving. I don't remember what part it was, but there was some particular part in it that always grenaded, and that happened about 3-4 times before he swapped the locker for something more reliable...

I've always wanted ARB, but they are somewhat more expensive.
That's why I considered KAM. But now, since they apparantly don't like doing business, I'll put my money on ARB lockers.

I have also contacted the Chinese company and been very impressed by the prompt replys , on one of the emails they say they are looking for a uk distributor and bulk purchasses would mean discounts :-)
I wounder if martin would be interested if enough of us wanted them ?
Before the indubitable " dont bother with cheep copies" psts start . . I have heard from someone whom i trust about these things that the factory that makes these lockers is infact where ARB have there's made

ive also been in contact with the company selling the chinese air lockers & was impressed with them they can offer good discounts on shipping if bought in bulk but would only offer a very small discount on the price of the lockers if buying i think it was 20+ or it could have been 10+ can't remember exact

Could be, but like others I`ve been trying over the last few months via emails direct and through there webb site.
by the sounds of it I`m not holding much hope they`ll reply
