I'm 22 and have a quote of £560 fully comp... surely mods don't double the cost?

Why couldnt I have seen this 3 month ago!? I saw this thread an hour ago and ive just spent £85 cancelling my insurance plus £63 deposit to go with adrian flux! Flux offers me alot more though, offroad use, drive anywhere in europe, drive other cars 3rd party, plus my jimny is now down as being modified so my insurance wont be void!
