I've got a Mini Cooper S modified atm which is insured with Adrian Flux which works out about £1,950 for the year.

I've just done a compare the market quote for a Jimny with suspension mods and tyres etc...
Only £1,177 :) Which I'm very happy with.
Thought I'd just check there aren't any specialist companies that I could be trying....
Anyone you can recommend. I'm only 20 so they need to insure my age as some don't.

Did you try Flux for a quote for a Jimny?
They're always being recommended on here.
On the 8th Day God made the LandRover -
On the 9th day he swapped it for a Jimny.

Adrian flux always come top for me, had a few 4X4's and a heavily modified jimny and no problems. Never even bothered to shop around the other week as I renewed my policy, just removed a named driver and added my mother as this reduced it even though she wont even get into the jimny. Also they dont charge extra for driving other cars 3rd party as I do this nearly every weekend.

I'd hope I don't have to cancel my current insurance and I can just swap over as I don't want to lose what I've built towards my next years no claims.

Keith Micheals, I has a mini GP with them, then I swapped to the Jimny with no problems all mods declared, I'm 31 btw.

Adrian Flux have a specialist company for Mins apparently. It's okay I can get
Modified insurance with Ecar or any of the Admiral group.
