Well, today I took my wheels off ready to paint
rubbed them down, might paint calipers/hubs while there off.....not sure because ive done my dodgy knee in ..... again
Going to paint black.... by hand with hamerite smooth

Can't you just paint them while they're still on?
I'm going to do the same, but would rather not take them off.
Would dry better in this weather mind you, but a pain in the ass.

hairytoes,
I took them off because I have wire brushed them and degreased them properly.
it could be done in situe on one side, however its not a propper job really, I want to do it right ( even tho just brushed ) and to dry it you could use a heat gun I guess....but still might as well do it right - saves doing it again and having twice the job to do
Cant wait till better weather so I can clean up and paint the entire underbody
- I might not be able to afford expensive kits for lift etc, but I can make it better with paint and graft

Another tip for you hairytoes......
stick the tin of paint in a tub of hot water..... you can get a pritty good finish if the paints hot when applied
