I have that fridge (different name, same design), and liking the bracket idea as mine is just strapped to the side.

I found the strap a bit of a pain

Feeling really pee'd off with myself. Years ago, I put full length door edge protection on all 3 doors. This week I noticed a small rust spot on the door sill. Looks like the edging strip has rubbed through the paint, it lines up perfectly and just to make sure there is no doubt, the passenger side is the same as drivers side!

So, I have been on the weight loss plan again. My wooden pullout table weighed a hefty 8.6kg  I trimmed down the wooden table to make a former, bought some 2mm ally sheet cut to size, and folded a new table.
The new table weighs 2.35kg.I have covered it with some wood effect sticky backed vinyl. I'm happy how it has turned out.

Just a little update on my camping set up.

Since buying the awning, I have bought a tent room for it that fastens in, under the awning.

However, that meant my awning was too low to fit the room properly.

First I tried inverting the brackets from the downward position to upwards.

That still didn't raise it enough, but I didn't want to drive around with it stuck up in the air. So adjustable brackets were needed.

Two pieces of telescoping box section were acquired. Mocking up and bolting up before getting the welder on the brackets.

The smaller box section, has two leaves welded on to bolt to the awning.

After final testing, off to the powder coaters.

In low (transport) mode, the awning is as high as the inverted brackets.

In high mode it gives me 1.97m headroom.

I have used spring buttons to hold it in place until the thumbscrews are inserted. This makes it a one man operation in raising and lowering.

Managed to give it proper trail the other weekend, it works a treat.
