Copy and paste this set of co ordinates into google maps and you'll see the quarry if you use the satellite view. It's not that big a place but you can spend a couple of fun filled hours up there, and there are a couple of trails in there that you can link up to give you a challenging route. Do NOT go into the swamp though.....lol.....unless you have a winch or a mate with a winch. It lures you in and sucks you down, i speak from experience. You could also do the quarry then on the way home drop down to Doctors Gate in Hamsterley forest which is a good bit of off roading then head back to teeside.
Hi all. I'm also from the NE, in yarm, and no another lad with a jimny. We go offroading often so would be good to get a NE jimny laning day some time.
As for tyres I got BF Goodrich all terrains and I am very happy with them. I've got a 2004 green hardtop with t/box guard and tyres.
