Finally purchased a non-original heater radiator for the petrol Jimny in Belgium. I had to cut the supply and return pipes because they didn't match the position of the diesel radiator, so I had to re-weld the two pipes from the original radiator... welding thin aluminum pipes isn't easy! I also couldn't put the original fittings back in, when I removed them, they disintegrated because they were so fragile, they're made of plastic. I could certainly have bought new ones, they cost €8.50 each in France, but unfortunately, when I removed the old radiator, while cutting the plastic fitting, I inadvertently cut a small piece of the aluminum pipe, and a small piece of the ring holding the plastic quick-release coupling came off.
Between last Saturday and Sunday, with great difficulty, I managed to reassemble the heating unit where the radiator is located, using fittings, some plastic and some copper (the bends). I'll test this afternoon or tomorrow to see if there are any leaks
