Fault codes and TPS value please was created by me101
Help please! 2007 VVT.
Firstly, does anyone know what the throttle position value should read at idle? Mine shows 14.5%, so is my sensor ready for replacement?
Secondly, getting fault codes P0340 and P0011. Symptoms include occasional feel of misfire, reduced power, usually when warm. Did 200 miles to Wales with the trailer, ran fine for 150 miles, then started playing up. Continued to play up intermittently over next couple of days. When on motorway, if you ignore the issue for a few seconds it goes away for a while. Have already swapped coils / leads and camshaft sensor.
Any ideas people??
Cheers

13-14% seems reasonable
The codes seem to suggest an intermittent issue with the camshaft sensor or the VVT system. I see you have changed the cam sensor, are the leads ok, plugged in properly. If it is an unbranded sensor then the new one could be faulty

Thanks Martin, looks like the same screen I use!
I'll double check the connection and cable integrity. Not a Suzuki part, may have to look at getting my hand in my pocket!

Martin, if I need to replace the cam sensor, which one do I need from the shop as it shows a few?

Oh and on the display, I am experimenting with it before transferring it over to James' car as it is his radio. I have a quick question. It comes with a bluetooth OBDII dongle. I have a similar dongle as well for my portable reader. Both dongles do not appear to sleep when the engine is turned off. Now I know bluetooth is very low power and a car battery has significant energy, so I assume the dongle is not a significant drain on the car battery, indeed we have a bluetooth battery health monitor on two of our cars that is permanently connected across the battery. Have you seen any battery issues with the dongle full time connected
