I am going to be adding some spot lights to the Jimny (Gen4), and I have a question regarding power for the switch -> relay. I don't want to connect it to the high beam, and this leaves me with either a direct connection to the battery, or ACC (can only turn on when the key is in/past the ACC position). I'd rather do ACC, but do you know if there's any convenient place to get ACC from? Switch will be placed to the right of the steering wheel (OEM switch panel)
You might like to check the local laws, most places require the spot lights to be switched along with the high beams.
There are multiple places to tap the ACC line - starting with the ignition switch, followed by the accessory power socket, then the fuse panel - take your pick.
