Can the shock absorbers of the new 2025 model be installed on the 2015 model?! Without the springs, just the shock absorbers, and does this have any effect?

yes it will fit. I think someone on here put the kit from my new Jimny onto their older Gen 3 Jimny. Not sure what gains are to be had apart from having new shocks.

Yes that's exactly what I did with Jlines suspension. Gen4 shocks and springs are interchangeable with Gen3. For me it was a cheap way to get new, genuine Suzuki suspension parts. It was also an interesting way to compare the suspension from a Gen4 with a Gen3 (as some people say the newer cars are smoother) and I can confirm it drives just the same.

Hi everyone, Before installing new coil springs on my 2015 Suzuki Jimny that got it from 2025 jimny,  I want to make sure I fit them in the correct position. Is there an easy way to tell which springs go in the front and which go in the rear? I noticed that some springs are slightly longer or thicker than others — is that a reliable way to tell the difference? Any tips or guidelines would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Matching long pair on the front. Of the short ones one will either be a little thicker or marginally longer that's the driver side rear.

One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
