Yes I am familiar with a volt metre. I have quite a few other jimnys so parts are easy to come by.. the ecu wasn’t my first call.. I’ve swapped relays and all sorts of dash computers.. if I could get pointed in the direction of some wires to check for volts or connections anywhere that have known to fail then I

It sounds like your approach to solving the problem is to simply swap whatever parts you have handy and hope for the best - certainly not how I would chose to deal with it.
The first thing I would be checking for is 12V power at the main relay
It’s a 1999 Suzuki jimny. I haven’t checked yet if there is power to the main relay. No back story. I purley put new gloves in went for a drive forgot to turn lights of then battery went flat got in tried to start it nothing the. Charged battery chucked it back in and it cranks but the engine light doesn’t come up on dash during ignition and the fuel pump isn’t priming.. it’s got no immobiliser so I know that’s not the problem..
