Not the sort of first post I expected to be making on here, but I'm in a bit of a pickle.
I've slowly been replacing the head gasket on Syd, it has been quite the learning experience but that was the whole point of getting her in the first place! Everything went quite well until I've gone to reinstall everything and get her running again. While tightening the bolts that hold the camshaft retainers down to the head to the correct torque, I've sheared one off in the head. Not ideal and I haven't had the courage to tackle it yet, but it's something I'll be getting around to very soon.
Does anyone by chance have any idea where I'd be able to get replacement bolts from? I've tried shopping around but I'm currently at a loss as to where I can get them from so any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum. If you drop Martin a message with your vin number via the shop in the top banner he will definitely be able to help.

I'd also recommend buying a 1/4" drive torque wrench. The bolts don't need much torque and it is very easy to over tighten them.

Thanks, Lambert. I did send one a little while ago but didn't include my VIN. I'll do that this time!
Funnily enough, Les, I was thinking the same thing. I used my 3/8" one and caused this whole mess. Didn't even consider that I'd have more leverage, but it was a good lesson how not to do it?
