Hi there, would like some of the forum knowledge on this. The radiator fan motor of mine has stopped working. Unfortunately my country official Suzuki support have exited my country thus it's very difficult to obtain knowledge or spare parts for my Jimny model.

Was wondering whether there are any alternative fan motor models that can be used instead of the model version seen in the attachment of this post.

Have you checked that the motor is the problem, ie wired it up on the bench?
If you have and it doesn't run then there is no harm in taking it apart. If this involves drilling out a spot weld then do it. Remember, as it is that motor is scrap. Spot welds can be replaced with nuts and bolts. Once inside check out the com. and brushes. these are the likely failure points. Come back when you have it apart.

Sorry not much direct help as my knowledge of Jimny cooling is firmly stuck with the viscose fan on the Gen3.
However in the classis car world a popular upgrade or repair is a universal fan kit. They come in many sizes and cost, below is an example

But as said check everything first

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

Main cooling fan is viscous and run off the water pump pulley, the motor is maybe for the A/C fan?

J999 MNY, ULYSSES M18 VVT with ITB's Dyno tested at 130hp

Pickup/tipper, R7me gearbox & 6.4 Rocklobster, 31" Toyo MT, 2x ARB air locker 3.9 diffs in braced axles, 6" total lift, Floating rear conversion, Raptor painted, CB, Recaro's, Caged, etc, etc...
