3 row radiator was created by VillaSteve
I have just shipped a 2009 hard top to Cyprus and in the hot weather keep getting temperature surges. If i turn the heating on and rev the engine the temperature gauge goes back down to normal for a while. I have replaced the water pump, cut the centre out of the thermostat, flushed the radiator and replaced the coolant and conducted a pressure test to check for leaks/head gasket etc. I am now considering replacing the radiator with the upgraded 3 row version ...when I look in the manual this looks an easy job but it doesn't explain the procedure with an ac condenser fitted... my question is has anybody fitted one of the 3 row 95mm thick radiators on an aircon model, did it fit and what was involved ...many thanks

Have you replaced the radiator cap? It is overheating because something is wrong, not because it doesn't have the capacity to keep itself cool.

Have you removed the radiator and looked between the two cores, the air-con and the radiator? There may be dry mud, grass, seeds, etc blocking the air flow. .
Another popular one is the Fan. There is a lot of advise on the forum about changing the oil in the fan.
