Jimny 1.5 DDIS 65HP to 86HP conversion was created by jajcekk
Hello everyone!
I own 2004 Suzuki Jimny 1.5 DDIS 65HP and the motor is really quite problematic. I read that 86HP version is much better. Does anyone know if that would be possible to convert them? If yes - what should be done?
Thanks for your replies!

I agree with that having never got the diesel in the UK it would be hard to give definite details but from what information I have seen it would be simpler to buy a car with the engine you want and sell your diesel.

Hello jacek.
I know a Norwegian early jimny
with PSA 1.6 swapped to 2.1 but I have no idea where to get the engine or nothing I am afraid.
I would guess to try to find what engine other cars got, how they swap, and most often of the same period.
I believe you ask to replace old k9k diesel with newer k9k 266 engine.

Bosanek on this forum seem to know.
If you google k9k engine swap there might be lots of info as same engine is used in other cars as well.
