How light weight can a jimny get on a budget? was created by OlaGB
As topic, if we just go for the basics of removing everything we dont need. Stereo, backseat, rocksliders/protection, roof liner, and maybe go as extreme as rear side windows to lexan, cut out alot from rear door, no winch or extra lights etc..
Still keeping 235/75MT`s and lockers. Maybe even go light weight seats,
What approx weight wouls we be looking at?
Considering selling the car, vs going a bit more extreme purpose instead.

My Dreadnaught weighs 1160kg, that's without any rear seats and recaro seats in the front. I have calculated in round figures that if I were to really try I could lose another 200kg and still have a relatively comfortable car. Going full race car it might be possible to get another hundred or so retaining the 4x4, going 4x2 would save loads more..

You will loose around 30kg from removing all seats and fitting lighter bucket seats
Front doors are very heavy too
