Welcome to the forum. We have had 2 automatic ones both with relatively low mileage so I have yet to need a rebuild. They do have a transmission cooler built into the radiator core and the 2 we have had have been very reliable. More generally the age you mentioned is the start of the problem period with the manual version that the automatic ones simply don't suffer from. Ultimately if the transmission oil is both the right level and a nice red colour that is a good indicator of a reasonable one. If it is low or brown walk away.

While there is still life left in one with that mileage I would really try to find one with less, even if it were a little older. Condition is everything.
