Steering Box seals and rebuilding was created by Jim Jim
Hi Guys,
I searched here for info but did not find anything.
Has anyone replaced their Jimny 3 steering box seals? Mine is leaking and I would like to know if anyone did and your thoughts. I should look for workshop manuals for this Jimny too.
I have seen a few seal kits like this one www.superspares.com.au/power-steering-bo...r-suzuki-jimny-10-19
Please advise.
Thanks.

Never done a Suzuki one. But I have been inside a land rover one. Bit of a pig of a job. If i had to do it again I would send it to a specialist.

I am rebuilding/modifying my 1997 LR Defender 110 hard top and had the steering box rebuilt too, it is a bit of a pain indeed, heavy too.
From what I read, the Jimny's steering box had a lot of ball bearings, not sure how deep you have to go to change the seals.
