Finally we got a bit of snow. Went out to try getting stuck in snow piles. Also wanted to try changing from 2h to 4h while moving. Since that can be practical on the roads here during winter. Well, I tried it while being stopped first. And the lever moved the entire transfer box :P Mounts gone! woho..

I'll just order the HD one from jimnybits. www.jimnybits.com/jimny/drivetrain/jimny...sfer-box-mounts.html
But want new bushings as well.

What do you recomend? The standard ones or the HD ones?

I am not familiar with the specific Jimnybits ones. However I recommend you consider vibration. The firmer and more solid the bushes are the more noise is transmitted from the transfer box, through the chassis and into the cabin.

I have a polybush style mounting bush on my Transfer box and the vibration noise is considerable.

I would get standard and keep a spare set in the boot, I had updated bushes and it drove me nuts

Crap, went for the HD bushings. Read a few older threads about the jimnybits HD ones were about the same as the standard ones on noise. If they drive me nuts, whey aren't that expensive to replace at least.

Will I be able to replace the mouting brackets with the box on the car, or do I have to remove it?
