GRIPMAX A/T Tyres or Maxxis 771 Bravo's? was created by Deadgrau5
Hey Guys
I am considering a tyre change, now I am not going to lie, it will most likely be 85% on road, 15% offroad, the truck will have a 1.5" lift kit.
If I go for the gripmax I want - GRIPMAX A/T 215/75 R15
Is anyone running these and what is your thoughts on/off road? I am considering the Gripmax as they look meaty and are cheap (sometimes that's not a good thing )which means I can happily tyre the spare too within budget.
What's your thoughts? The Jimny is already running 205/70 Maxxis 771's but want a chunkier tyre, I am tempted to replace for 771's in 75 profile but just looking at other options first.

Having never heard of them until now I can't really judge but on paper they seem ok for the money. So many different brands of tyres are popping up all over, I have some odd ball things like that on the back of the cherokee because they came on it and yeah they are ok but I will buy proper tyres when the time comes to replace them. I have long held that the tyres are the only thing that actually touch the ground and keep it all together so good quality is more important than low prices.

Don't know how much the Gripmax are but have a look at Yokoharma Geolanda A/T. Not silly money and work very well.
