Er... Yes. Just don't drink it if you know what's good for you!

100W....not measured the actual current used but Ohms law 100/12=8.3A it just makes sitting in the car bearable.......the electric blankets are 50W and heaps better!

For sleeping the fan heater requires a quieter fan.....I'm fairly deaf and it still loud :D

Sorry to revive an old thread but just thought I would post this picture. 45 degree bank, 2 diagonal wheels in large rabbit/fox holes.
Pulled out using my 2000lbs portable winch on a single line pull on Saturday. :)

What winch are you using? Going with something cheap and portable but adequate rather would go well with the ethos of my Jimny, as well as giving more recovery options. My biggest worry with recovery is that there's nothing to attach a winch to on open bogland sections - I should probably just bring a spade :). My current method is to only try thing's I'm not sure of in the uphill direction, so if wheels start spinning I can recover downhill.

Some cheap old thing from ebay. Its not very fast but gets the job done. Had it about 10 years and only used
it offroad 2 or 3 times but it has never let me down. I bought it for a different job but it works fine for most things.
I think they are around £50-£70 ish now but worth it. :)
