When I bought mine (from KAP Suzuki) it was already lifted with extended brake lines. The driver's side rubbed on the tyre and blew when I did an emergency stop. I had nothing. It went to the floor straight away and I yanked up the handbrake.
I thought the same as you.
I don't understand it but it is what it is!

Mine has a warning light when the fluid gets too low......so I bought front pads as I've fitted rear a couple of weeks backs....my fronts are still golden so....
Now to find where it went.......Either the engine drank it or it leaked out...... Cold outside innit!
Oh I'm glad the crapola modern safety brakes didn't injure any of you......gotta make your own brakes to have good ones.
