I believe this may be a common issue, CD is stuck in the player as it has been since purchased early this year, sadly it is of Bon Jovi and not to upset fans too much it is not of my taste, if someone can point me in the right direction on how to remove this CD I would be very grateful,

Cheers

take it out the dash turn upside down
power it up press eject and give it a sharp/swift tap with screwdriver handle or similar
then when it pops out grab it fast and put it under your rear tyre and drive over it
;)

Cheers Jack

Take it no ones interested in my CD then, its got living on a prayer on it and all that. I got a good deal with the Jimny but nothing is worth having to listen to this, I am hoping the value of my Jimny will go up once its removed.

The only suitable way to deal with the factory cd player is to carefully remove it from the dashboard and then lovingly place it on an anvil and gently smite it with a sledgehammer. Repeatedly. Then go to the shop and get a nice sensible pioneer (other brands are available ) and Robert is your mother's brother.

One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.

It could have been worse.....

Have you ever heard any of that "music" by people with horrifically misspelt first names (like children's text-speak), and a single letter surname?

I'd have to jump out of the car whatever speed it was travelling at if any of that came on the wireless and I couldn't find the mute button

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)
