I've just finished one simple modification to my Jimny.
As I have already replaced automatic hubs with manual ones, removed the vacuum pipes and solenoids all that was left was fixing the blinking light on the dashboard. I took some photos and I've put a
page on the wiki

Not exactly. I can't identify the plug that you disconnected and "bridged" (or whatever the word in English for that be), so I can't tell if the result is the same, and I actually doubt it.
I think your solution might be tricking the 4wd module into lighting up the 4wd indicator, while mine just makes a direct connection from the switch in the transfer box to the bulb of the indicator and allow to remove the 4wd module completely.
//EDIT: and I have a question - is your solution for the electronically steered transfer box? (button-operated) because mine is for a manual one (lever)
