The total diameter of a 215/75/15 tyre is 703.5mm.

The total diameter of a 235/75/15 tyre is 733.5mm.

So a difference of 30mm. Which doesn't sound like much but is when you consider an inch is 25.4mm!

It needs a 3" lift really and this is the theoretical diameter too. Add the extra tread of a mud terrain or the massive tread of an extreme mud terrain and it's much bigger than this.

You'll notice quite a loss of torque and power and fuel consumption will be worse. You really could do with a Rocklobster transfer box to bring the high ratios back to where they should be. Low range isn't low enough with 235/75/15's and you'll burn your clutch out off road without a Rocklobster.

215/80/15's are available from Malatesta tyres. Can you not get them?

They're remoulds though.

What about Insa Turbo tyres? They do a few 215/80/15's.
