Sunroof/ hatch.

Fitting the one out of a Clio was a doddle in the grand vitara and the scrapyard has loads in.I just took my time finding the best.Took 15 minutes to take them out & £20 each.They fitted great, I used a jig saw to cut the hole out and used a file to take any burs off.The frame clamps down really tight as it has about 20 bolts so plenty of silicone and tighten down in a pattern just like a cylinder head.You will find that it flattens out the ripples in the roof .If there is any high spots just fill with silicone and a bit of fairy liquid on the finger and just smooth it off.Im contemplating sticking one in my jimny but need to size it up to see if the clio s/roofs are ok.Dont thing the width is much diff to the Grand vit. I fitted 2 in the grand vitara,the rear we used to remove the glass (leave it in the barn).i had no seats in the back only an old modified swivel bar stool to shoot from.

This could be a option. Was thinking about getting a hatch made out of chequer plate but can't find anyone to fabricate it.

Thinking of getting a chequer plate hatch made up, low profile that you can remove.
Then make a platform on top of roof racks that can also be remove when not in use.....just got to find someone to make it.

I've just bought a Jimny with front and rear Webasto sunroofs. I'll get some pics up when I get it home this weekend.
