Replacing rear door on Jimny. was created by clubbing80s
Hi.
I need some advice. I bought a back door and bumper off an online auction site to replace those on my 2007 Jimny. The door and bumper are from a "Jimny Wide" the guy said they would fit... I was doing a quick measure before I started working and if my measurements are correct the replacement door is 5mm wider than that on my Jimny.
Am I measuring correctly, is there a ~5mm difference ?
Thanks

I wasn't aware of any Jimny Wide model and to my knowledge the rear doors have been the same from conception in 1998 to the present day.
James on here breaks them, so he might know better.

My 2001 model has a door of an 07 on it. There is no difference in size. I also have never heard of the wide model. I don't however think 5mm would make much difference as there is a nice gap around the doors anyway

A wide model may differentiate between the jdm narrow model and the UK standard but iirc the difference is in the attached plastic arches rather than the body itself?

As Ollie says jimny wide is what UK jimnys are. It's just the plastics to give a wide body look. The rear door will be the same. There is quite a bit of adjustment on the hinge bolts to help align the door
