Es1000 Pro Comp Shock Help?! was created by Statey
So I picked up a set of 4 shocks cheap from eBay they look pretty new and the chap I got them off said they only covered 100+miles.
Anyway went to put the rear ones on today and the new shocks don't seem to want to extend and they're really stiff compared to the ones I took off.
I cracked on and fitted them but they will not budge at all it's strange!
Am i missing something? Could they be knackered? Or even wrong ones? Or even wrong height!? I dunno apparently they are standard height from what the chap said?
Cheers

They should slowly extend on their own when released from compression. Their resting state when disconnected is fully extended

Yeah I figured that be the case they stay compressed! Seems strange when they don't look damaged or anything

So I reached out to pro comp and got this....
Hello David
These shocks a re a non gas charged shock and will not rebound by themselves.
Only our 9000 series shocks are gas charged.
Thank you
Anyone any ideas?

Managed to check an ES1000 I have here and pro-comp are right, they do not move from where they are left. So you learn something new every day
