I've done a quick search and not found anything obviously related .

I'd noticed that the left hand headlight looked like it had blown so changed the bulb but it hasn't got any brighter. I've also just noticed that the dash warning for high beam isn't working.
I've done a quick check with a multimeter and it shows 8 volts going to the left bulb and 14 volts to the right. If I take out the fuse for the right light then they both go out, if I remove the left hand fuse then they both stay on but the left hand is still dim. Voltage at the fuse box match the voltage at the bulb. I'm about to check the relay but does anyone have any thoughts on what else may need checking? Anyone else experienced this?

Soooooo. No relay. Guess I'll have to check the switch next. Suppose it makes sense to sort out the High beam marker just in case it's something weird like that causing the problem.

So I've diagnosed it as no power feed to the left hand lamp, this is also the reason for the lack of warning light surprisingly. Connect blue/white direct to battery and all is well. Looks like a break in the wire somewhere. Must be far easier to fit a new power feed rather than trying to track the fault. I'd prefer to do it right but the wire seems to get lost in the main loom. after leaving the light.

Sounds stupid but have you changed the fuse? I've had a partially blown fuse be funny before, it looked perfect but a new fuse fixed the problem? Worth a go if you haven't already
