Hi all,
I've been having a look around some of the Japanese jimnys and quite like the look of their fascia configurations. I'm guessing that a lot of the motors are the newest facelift variety. I'd quite like to change the face of my 2007 to something like this:-
It's just pie in the sky thoughts at the minute until I get enough cash in the pot, but I'm guessing that this is possible as the light modules look the same shape as mine. I'm also guessing that all I'd need to change would be the bonnet, grille and the bonnet catch release mechanism?

Have you seen the KAP front trims?

I'd like to know what lift and tyres are on that Jimny in your picture above.
Kirkynut
Edit : They're 185/85/16's Yohohama Geolandar MT's and not available in the UK it seems.

Hi Kirky,
Yes, I was having a look at their set-up on the blue Jimny, but I couldn't see any bumpers that incorporated the lights/spotlights. The Japanese ones are quite stylish and really do improve the look of their Jimny in a factory style finish. It almost looks lada niva 'ish' with the roof rails removed. Perhaps thats just my eyes tho.
I had another dig on the internet and found more pics, I can't read Japanese, but there was a rogue '60mm' written in English chucked in the comments of a suspension pic. I think that's a modest 2 and a bit inch lift.
