Jimny not level after hitting hill too hard was created by GraphicX
thanks in advance for any assistance
basically went up this hill really hard;
that's a vid of me doing it with a locker, i tried again without the locker & pushed too hard (still couldn't get over it) & it threw my steering right out (steering wheel was pointing over toward 10-11 o'clock).
had a wheel alignment done & it appears i've slightly bent an axle/diff housing, but apparently it's not awful (car drives nice again). issue is my passenger side rear is now sitting 22mm higher than the driver's side & the passenger's side front is about 15mm higher than the other side.
i've checked & all the springs appear to be seated correctly, also the panhard rods etc appear straight too (but i'm yet to hold a straight edge against them).
beyond checking those i'm really lost as to what the issue could be, so please ... help ... me ...

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Try parking facing the other way, and see if the lean moves to the other side.
Seriously, my Jimny leans terribly on the drive, so much so that I was looking to put a spacer under the drivers rear spring, but park it on a level surface, or put it on the MOT ramps, and it is perfectly level. I would never have thought the miniscule slope on the drive (I didn't know I had one) would make such a difference.
You may find that it is nothing to do with bending it, just you've never looked for the problem before.

If it all checks out ok then get a single Spring spacer from either jimnybits or bits4vits and fit it to the drivers front Spring to level it out. It's a common problem on Rhd Jimnys as the driver and battery are on the same side of the car

@ facade; never thought to check in another direction, will give it a look.
@ loachie; it has always had a lean, but previously in the other direction :S
spoke to the mechanic who did the wheel alignment, apparently a shock mount has begun to tear away & he's confident the housing is bent. i just didn't think it'd cause the car to sit so strangely.

just a quick update on this for anyone who may encounter a similar issue.
i've torn a front lower shock mount, but it appears i did it a while back. the main issue appears to have been the shocks came unseated & needed twisting in their mounts. the car isn't perfectly level, but appears to have the typical jimny lean so i'm happy with it again.
thanks darth & facade for your suggestions.
