Steering Dampers - General question was created by mc_nebula
Hi eveyone,

I'm looking at fitting a steering damper to combat the symptoms of minor wobble.
I've seen several "return to centre" types around, but none of the usual suspects seem to sell a Jimny specific RTC damper. Is there a reason for this?

Also, I have read that a steering damper designed for a Discovery Seris 1 will fit a Jimny. Can anyone verify this?

This culminates in: Why shouldn't I buy a bracket kit for the jimny, and a RTC Disco1 damper?

Thanks all!

Ali.

Thanks Martin.
One further question...
What style bracket havhave you used?
I'm torn between the kit off jimnybits, if he will sell it sans damper, or the budget one from your shop? Some say the one you sell leaves the angle of the damper a bit steep...

Cheers
