31's on -30 Offset Wheels with 4" Lift?

I side walled a tyre last night down the Machynlleth horseshoe aka bastard lane so I thought it might be time to go a little bigger.

I currently have 2" suspension lift and 2" body lift with 215/80/15 black star guyanes on jimnybits 15x7 -30 offset steel wheels.

What size can I get away with on the setup I currently have?

I thought I might try some m/t's with less aggressive tread than the guyanes in a bigger size.

Are 31x10.50r15 suitable for my lift and wheels if I got something like cooper STT, BFG or kumhos?


Thanks in advance I'm sorry for tyre questions it's just my situation is quite specific and I can't find answers.

Have you got a rocklobster and HD internals in shafts is answer is no then better staying smaller

Yes I have a rock lobster and no I don't have updated shafts but that will probably come for now I'm happy to risk it

Go for it then if cv become a problem upgrade them later I blow quite a few on 29s but I drove it hard

A bit less extreme. Slightly bigger and still grippy off road.
