King pin replacement what do I need? was created by jim
Hi everyone.
I have ordered kingpin bearings from the bigjimnyshop to rectify the infamous wheel wobble at 40mph.
I'm not familiar with this prehistoric design so do I need to replace the kingpins too?
I have downloaded the bigjimny replacement guide.
Many thanks
James

I didn't have to change mine but I suppose it's dependant on your jimny, some good grease is important

I think they are less likely to need replacing. Unfortunately waterproof grease is out of stock but due in soon.

If you're desperate for waterproof, you can get it in a ship's chandlers if you're anywhere near the coast
