Lower Front Suspension Bracket broken ! was created by John_S_RAA
Helped set up and running Ultra4 Europe King Of Wales off road event at Walter Arena in Wales. Jimny performed great towing trailer tent to campsite and then getting around the site. Only needed a tug once to get out of a deep rutted track which had left me beached. On the journey back to Hampshire I was feeling pleased with the handling until about 1/2 hour from home when I detected a slight knocking noise and handling was no longer so precise.
Upshot is the lower front suspension bracket has broken on nearside.
Is a replacement bracket available?
Does anyone do an uprated bracket?
Cheers for replies.
Better go and find my bike now to enable me to get to work. (Only 3.5 miles but its all uphill !!!!!!)

You can either have that re-welded. Or have a new mount made and welded on. Or as a last resort change the axle tube.
I'd have it re- welded and beefed up at the same time.

Offroad Armory used to do the brackets as you can see from my own repair
www.bigjimny.com/index.php/bigjimny-blog...211-brackets-v15-336
However these were discontinued. I believe he will cut some if the group order is big enough but not one offs.
