What's the purpose of a body lift? was created by NineCherries
Just wondering, is it just to give clearance for tyres and suspension flex? Is that the only benefit? I'm thinking aloud but interested to find out why people have done a lift?

:)

Yes, bodylift lifts the arches up above bigger tyres, and also lifts the bumpers and sills up out of harms way, but the chassis remains at the same height...

Suspension lift will move the chassis (and bumpers and sills) up out of harms way...

BUT, only bigger tyres can lift the axles off the ground... :S
