Uprated radiator, Rad hoses was created by Tomhorntoad
Does anybody do an up rated rad and or rad hoses?

Reason I ask I've been having some overheating problems. The water pump is pretty much brand new and I've just changed the viscous fan. My rad is supposedly quite new and had been cleaned out (where possible)
So now I'm thinking it could be thermostat, rad,rad hoses or cap?

I can't think it's the hoses. A new rad and thermostat will solve it I'm sure.

Have you seen any uprated rads?

No, probably because they don't need them. Standard ones are fine.

If you've been out in mud then the fins could be clogged up but I'd have the coolant system pressure tested and then checked for gasses before I fitted uprated parts.

Are you implying that a Jimny engine could have a blown head gasket?
