Hi all I've had a whine on my car for a while now only when on power no whine when coasting.I thought it was rear diff whine so have changed the diff but still have the whine.
All wheel bearings have been changed so know they are OK it seems to be worst in 4th and 5th gears any ideas what can cause the whine.

Gearbox or transfer box? Try it in low on a flat field and see if it's still only in 4th and 5th

I have changed the gear box and t case oils, levels are spot on but still got the whine I think I'm going to take the rear prop off and run it in 4 h with the front axle and see if anything changes
