Hi Folks,

Been trawling the internet looking for a new set of steel wheels with a -30 offset. Couldn't find any on bigjimny.com, jimnybits.com or bits4vits. I did however find these:

Suzuki Vitara wheels

Does anyone know if or what the offset is on these compared to standard jimny wheels? I've emailed the seller about them, but would prefer an opinion from the experts. ;)

2" Trailmaster suspension lift, 2"body lift, snorkel, full breather kit, 29" steel wheels with BFG tyres, tinted rear windows, CRT CB radio with modulator antenna mounted on rear, dog cage and tray in the back.

Ok, so I got a response from the seller:

"These will be ET 0. This would mean you have 4" of wheel coming out from the hub

These are for off road set ups normally and are not meant to be a copy of the original setup in anyway"

So, I now know ET0 means 'no offset' in German. But these wheels are meant for a Vitara. Has anyone bought these and fitted them. I'd love to get an opinion on these. I've emailed about the centre bore size. Shouldn't think that would be a problem with a wheel for a Suzuki tho..... :pinch:

I have the grand vitara 16" wheels fitted with 235/85/16 fitted, with 4.5 and 2 inch lifts and have no problem with them. Had to trim the arches and fit fender flares but did this using caravan arch rubber

Nice. I'm sticking with the 15" to keep the wheel mass down and as I'm only putting in a 2" lift, I'm having to be a little conservative with my ideas. That and my wallet wont keep up with the pace. :pinch:

Do you have any pics of your arches? I'd like to see the flaring. My Jimny is an 07, so I'm probably going to be stuck with keeping the original bumper, so I may have to do a bit of shaving, depending on the size of boots that go on it.

As j999pre mentioned they should look like this when fitted

These have an offset -30 on an 07 plate ;)
