handbrake adjustment was created by oxford_bloke
I have a muddy zook rear brake conversion and when I pull on the handbrake only one wheel locks up. I have had it on jacks for the last 2 hours trying to work this out. With the caliper leaver all the way over the wheel still doesn't appear to lock up is this an internal problem within the caliper? Or am I missing something obvious?

Can you adjust the piston in that caliper out a bit so that the movement you get is enough to stop you? If not sounds like a caliper issue

If you have a lot of clearance between the pads and the disc then you can adjust the piston out to take up the clearance, then when you pull the cable it should grip the disc and no it won't pop out. If the piston isn't moving at all then it's probably a caliper problem
