Wondering how hard they are to fit and what stops them turning in the radius arm ?( I have a reasonable workshop and can make drifts etc if needed)

Also, what effect would corrected bushes have if the Jim hasnt been lifted ?

I wanted to do the harder stuff first, fit extended hoses and correction bushes in prep for a 2" lift

If you fit correction bushes to standard jimny it will put your suspension geometry and axle alignment way out as you will be compensating for a suspension lift that has not been done. I would think it would be difficult to drive/steer and possibly dangerous

No more difficult to drive/steer and possibly dangerous than a 2" suspension lift without castor correction.

Thats what im thinking, with a 2" lift caster correction is not needed as the effects on decreasing the caster angle are not too drastic, and I would be increasing the angle by a similarly small amount.

Also, with an SFA the caster angle will be changing all the time, under breaking, accelerating , heavy loads etc so there must be an acceptable safe spread (so to speak)

It would make the steering slightly heavier and improve the self centering. Nothing drastic!

There is nothing to stop the bushes rotating per-se, however they are clamped by the axle brackets and, because the holes are eccentric, they can't turn easily when everything is bolted up.
